Mindful Yoga and Meditation Studio is committed to creating a loving, balanced, harmonious community by transforming the world one breath at a time.

Come and enjoy our consciousness based classes that will enhance your body, mind and spirit.  Our variety of classes blend meditation, breathe, movement, and chanting into a nourishing practice of centered awareness. Our classes are infused with Deepak Chopra's "Seven Spiritual Laws of Success" and promise to provide something for everyone.

 Hatha Classes:

Yoga Practice

A great class for those new to the yoga practice.  Emphasis will be on learning essential alignment of poses (asanas), modifications, breathing (pranayama), body/mind/spirit awareness, and yogic terminology and philosophy. (1 hr)

 

RestorativeYoga

Restore, revive, relax, and rebuild in this gentle class.  It is designed to assist those who seek support and modification in their yoga practice; or for those needing a little peace and tenderness.  Expect connecting breathwork (pranayama), relaxation techniques, and plenty TLC. (1hr)

 

Yoga Practice

Cultivate a deep inner presence that can be taken off the yoga mat into your life!  This is a well-balanced class for the continuing yoga student who is familiar with basic poses (asanas) and alignment and is ready for a little more than a beginning class. It is a class where students of every level can immediately enjoy benefits, see improvements, and use new-found inner and outer strength to increase the quality of their life.  (1 ½ hr)

                                       

 Vinyasa Flow Classes:


Vinyasa Flow

Movement linked with breath!  This Vinyasa flow class is created to enliven your body, cleanse your mind, and ignite your spirit. Designed to build progressively, this class is practical for the returning yoga student as well as those new to yoga. It is a class where students of every level can immediately enjoy benefits, see improvements, and use new-found inner and outer strength to increase the quality of their life. You will sweat!  (1 ½ hr)

 

Power

This class will exhilarate and cleanse your body.  Ignite your mind-body connection, create space to move from your spirit, build strength and focus while unwinding tight joints and muscles.  Dynamic, challenging, you will sweat. (1hr)

 

Specialty Classes:

 Prenatal Yoga

Yoga for mommies-to-be!  This Prenatal Yoga class is specifically tailored to suit your ever-changing body and will relax you and prepare you for the most athletic event of your life.  Special care is taken to guide you gently and safely through each stage of pregnancy.  We will discover ways of creating openness and strength, as well as ease the aches and pains, to help you through the cycles of pregnancy, and the labor and delivery process.  We will use guided imagery and breathing (pranayama) techniques to cultivate awareness and reduce stress. (1 hr) 

Level One Yoga

Enjoy a yoga practice incorporating the most commonly used poses like downward dog, plank, upward dog, lunges, twists and of course...Savasana.  This class is designed to build camaraderie with others while you are guided through a gentle, supported practice that will improve your flexibility, balance, breathing, strength, and your overall sense of well being. Exploring poses that are suitable for everyone come play and explore relaxation, meditation techniques that will sooth the mind,body and soul.  Chairs, blocks, and other props will be available for your support as needed. (1 hr)
